My new blog

I've decided to start a new blog about money management for families.

Its called Mommies & Cents: A modern mommy's guide to money management:

I decided to start it because, like I discuss in my first post, I often would get asked for financial advice because of my background in accounting and my general interest in personal finance. As much as I'd love to help people through medicine, I realized that I can still help people in other areas of their life. That's why I started the blog. In it I discuss various ways to manage money and delve into things like maternity leave, budgeting and other money issues that affect families today. I invite you all to read it :)

It doesn't mean that I've given up on medicine completely. I haven't. And the older I get the more I realize that even if it doesn't happen till I'm older, that's ok. I'm going to be older anyway. If it doesn't happen at all, that's ok too.

And who knows, maybe my blog will turn into something greater that will give me the fulfillment and purpose that I'm looking for and maybe I'll be able to turn it into a money making venture as well.

We will see! The future is exciting.
